What a boon for John Kerry and John Edwards as they set forth to paint the Nation Blue.  Unbeknownst to them, the energies in play can be worked in their favor.  We won't be seeing another opportunity like this until June 30th 2007.

The Moon in the U. S. chart falls in the 2nd House of our assets.  It is forming a cozy relationship with T. Neptune creating a conjunction.  The Neptunian  energies provide impetus to visualize change, to bring forth new ideas, and to generate an idealism within the People.  T. Mars forms an intense opposition to the U.S. n. Moon providing a boatload of Leo Fire energies inspiring and energizing the People, as Jim Morrison would intone "Come on Baby, Light my Fire".  People beware as well that those well oiled spin machines are cranking at maximum power to confound, confuse, befuddle, and terrify the citizens to manipulate their Vote in November. Do not fall into the fantasy laced rhetoric eschewing forth from honeyed lips of the bellicose T. Sun in Leo which is in Parallel with the U.S n. Mercury.  The Faux News networks are in cahoots with the slimey snake oil salesman and will take advantage of the inconjunct trigger from the  T. Neptune to the U.S. n. Sun.  Spin, spin and more spin.  Hearing GWB speak is hearing revisionist history in action.

The Moon forms two powerful Air trines.  First with the U.S n. Saturn in the 10th House, the pResidents house, the other with the U.S. n. Uranus in the 6th House of the military, it's armies and their occupation in foreign lands.  Will the People demand an accounting of the pResident for his actions?  What shocks will be unleashed with Uranus being activated in the 6th House?  What more atrocities will we hear about over which the Bush Administration has lost control over?

Constantly at play in this period of our astrological history is the ever present T. Pluto opposing the U.S n. Mars.  The image of America is in the process of transformation.  The image reflected in this lunar landscape is of the face of it's leader with the T. Sun 8 Leo, in trine with the U.S n. Ascendent.

Further emphasizing the theme of change the moons lunar energies are in parallel with the U.S n. Pluto in the 2nd House.  One can hypothesize that the latest Orange Alert issued because of terrorist chatter against the Financial Institutions in New York and  New Jersey may manifest.  It might also be another political distraction employed by Bush and Co. to foist fear and financial burden onto these Blue States since he's taking a dump in the pre-election polls.

The Quintile aspect provides a higher vibration of spiritual energy between the Moon and the U.S. n. Chiron.  This evokes feelings of healing the rift and the divisions that have rendered our Nation fragmented by a devisive leader.  Friendships, families all are polarized over Iraq, Abu Ghraib, Guantanamo, and the wholesale slaughter of Iraqi citizens by US forces ordered by this Commander in Chief.  Further fueling enmity between the Peoples are the loss of jobs to offshoring by fat cat corporations, the top 2% of the People are getting all the bennies while all of us working stiffs foot the bills, and millions suffer due lack of health care.  The decimation of the police and fire departments because of local state, county and city budgetary constraints.  Those same States, Counties and Cities facing huge budget shortfalls because the economy has NOT recovered, good jobs that actually pay a mortagage and put food on the table are hard to come by in the good ole U. S. of A.
